Territory Sales Manager

Job DescriptionSummaryAt ADT Solar, our Territory Sales Manager supervises a group of Home Energy Consultants and oversees their daily sales activities.
They are responsible training sales employees, developing effective sales strategies, and ensuring that sales quotas are met for their assigned territory.
Supervisory and Reporting StructureThis position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
Essential Job FunctionsOversees daily sales activities for all Home Energy Consultants in assigned territory.
Provides in person and virtual training/coaching to sales team.
Hosts weekly in person meetings to review company updates and trainings.
Manages performance of assigned Home Energy Consultants.
Analyzes sales data to identify territory sales goals and set individual goals for assigned Home Energy Consultants.
Manages dispatch of all company leads in assigned territory.
Partners with Home Energy Consultants, Field Operations, and other business partners to address customer complaints.
Develops sales strategies to consistently grow sales volume month over month.
Assists in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new Home Energy Consultants.
Partners with Talent Acquisition to establish local criteria for continued team development and growth.
Partners with Field Operations and other business partners to manage sales contracts through full project lifecycle to ensure prompt install and PTO times.
Assists Regional Sales Manager and other Sales leaders with new initiatives and growth strategy implementation.
Fosters a positive working environment for all Home Energy Consultants in their assigned territory.
Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.
Maintains knowledge of solar system and solar industry changes.
Attends all required Company/Team meetings.
Remains up to date on all required Company training.
Maintains knowledge of local AHJs and Utilities.
Obtains and maintains relevant licenses as required by federal, state, or local regulations for solar sales and any other business unit product and services.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees in the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Skill in creating sales leads.
Maintains appearance of uniform as directed by company policy.
Maintains a valid driver's license.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Close visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm's reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing an analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.
Incumbent working conditions:
change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
Home survey will include walking outside of customers home and being subject to outside temperatures.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
