Serves a point of contact for the Chief of Staff and Medical Center Director, routing requests to the appropriate service-level leader when an immediate response is needed. Tracks and trends all Action Items and Controlled Correspondence within the Service. Provides appropriate reports for Deputy ACOSs/Discipline Leads for their Ongoing Professional Peer Evaluations (OPPE) and Focused Professional Peer Evaluations (FPPE) review with their staff. Responsible for the Physician On-Call monthly schedule. Acts as a buffer and liaison for the Associate Chief of Staff for Mental Health (ACOS/MH). Work Schedule:

You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS 6 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a point of contact for the Chief of Staff and Medical Center Director. Responsible for the Physician On-Call monthly schedule. Schedule appointments, coordinates meetings, and/or schedules conferences. Screen calls and visitors determining the identity and nature of the call/visit. Maintain an accurate inventory of records. Serve as a purchase card holder. Order supplies and other services. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

Physical Requirements:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending and carrying of light items such as books, papers, and files. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. The work is in an office suite which includes the MH ACOS and other leaders Mental Health Service. The work involves everyday risks and discomforts typical of office and meeting rooms. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
