Provides technical assistance and troubleshooting to customers regarding engineered lumber products.
Provides product selection, product information, answers inventory and pricing questions.
Responsible for account planning, key account focus, demand forecasting, and sales of focus inventory items.
Prepares calculations / yield projections and customer presentations of a technical nature to gain new business.
Generate, improve and maintain technical service tools, models, presentations, and comparisons.
Meets plan productivity schedule and remains current on technical trends in market segments.
Communicates with logistics team on customer service issues.
Knowledge of multi-unit / multi-family construction and light-commercial construction methods, structure and wood frame construction.
Understanding of load flow through a house from the roof ridge to the foundation.
Working knowledge and understanding of load development and load flow tracking.
Must be able to determine the magnitude of loads.
Understanding of wood frame construction, blueprint analysis, numerical analysis, CADD software.
Business knowledge, product knowledge, consultative selling skills (questioning, probing, listening), organizational and planning skills.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant tools/technology.
Years of
Experience:
2-5
years experience preferred with BS / BA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
