STUDENT SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM GOALCranford Construction Company will recruit and employ Student Summer Interns for the purpose of orientation to Cranford Construction Company operations, peak season operational support, and in the anticipation of potential transition to full time employment as positions become available.
STUDENT SUMMER INTERNSHIP TIMELINECranford Construction Company intends to recruit for internships and will make offers as candidates are identified.
Summer 2021 report will be negotiated individually based on availability of the intern.
TARGET STUDENT SUMMER INTERN FIELD OF STUDYStudents with focus on a field of study in the area of Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geology or a related field or administrative / support field to these areas of study will be the primary target group for consideration for summer internship positions.
Undergraduate students who are rising juniors or seniors are a primary target for internship interview and potential offer after interview.
STUDENT SUMMER INTERNSHIP COMPENSATIONThe Compensation for the Student Summer Intern position will be as follows:
Sign-On Bonus A sign on bonus of $750 will be paid at the completion of the first week of report.
Hourly Compensation An hourly wage of $16.
00 will be paid.
Overtime will be paid over 40 hours in any week or otherwise as stipulated by law or statute in the location of work.
Monthly Stipend A monthly stipend will be paid.
In the event that a partial month is completed, at the end of the internship for example, this amount will be prorated.
This stipend is intended to compensate the Student Summer Intern for all travel expense, living expense, and any other expense associated with the report to work in a given location.
Lodging or otherwise accommodation may be substituted for either a portion or all of the monthly stipend.
